Mike started his firm in 1997. From 2004 through February, 2025, he and his former partner, Scott Goldshaw, practiced under the banner of Salmanson Goldshaw, PC. After being named by the Legal Intelligencer as the runner-up Labor and Employment Litigation Department of the year in 2012, the Firm was named the Top Labor and Employment Litigation in Pennsylvania in June, 2014. As of March 1, 2025, Scott joined our friends at the firm now known as Goldshaw Greenblatt Pierce, LLP.
Mike represents both employers and employees in virtually every aspect of the employer-employee relationship, through counseling, negotiation, and litigation in federal and state courts in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. He has extensive experience in virtually every aspect of the employment relationship. He provides counseling and negotiates employment contracts for individuals and corporations; his extensive litigation practice focuses in four primary areas: Employment Discrimination, ERISA and Benefit Claims, False Claims Act and other whistleblower claims, and Wage Payment, Non-Compete and other Contract issues. He has also litigated a wide variety of commercial disputes for his corporate clients.
